UNIMO can maneuver on many different terrains by use of crawler belts, right/left independent suspension and electronic control.
UNIMO can climb a 10 cm curb while traditional power wheelchairs can climb around 8cm curbs maximum.
UNIMO can travel over a 15 cm wide trench as well.
This means that you can get on the train without assistance.
You can go places that are unpaved, over gravel/grass and through snow and sand.

Note: UNIMO does have its limitations. It is always recommended to travel with a partner for safety.

For example, it can make a 180 degree turn inside a narrow elevator or make a 90 degree turn with a 60 cm turning radius in the super market or convenience store.

The user can even control the comfort and angle of the seat while driving.
The chair has a 30 degree tilting capability to assist the user.
UNIMO has built in safety features for seat control!
For example, it will automatically stop and adjust the seat angle if the sensors have determined the seat is off balance and unsafe for travel.

Most traditional mobility assistants can be difficult to operate.
